As always the school year flies by and Christmas is upon us already. As I look back to August I find it hard to believe how much has been going on in our school community. From trips to Belgium, New York and London, the record breaking Macmillan activities and our extraordinary Remembrance Event to name but a few it is fair to say we have a vibrant and exciting school community.
The commitment of my colleagues is impressive and they must be credited for creating many opportunities for our young people. But it is our young people who deserve the highest praise. Their attitude, energy and creativity are to be applauded. We have asked them to commit to a new uniform, live and breathe our school values and be all they can be academically. They have not disappointed.
I must also thank you as parents and carers for your support and the vital part you play in the life of our school. Without your help, support and feedback we would struggle to do what we do. Thank you.
I wish you all a restful and enjoyable Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
