Shared responsibilities
-
Provide universal support for allocated house caseloads by working in partnership with colleagues, parents, agencies, other services and staff in other schools, including local primary schools, in addressing the needs of pupils in designated house caseload

Lead and manage meetings as appropriate, including: Staged Intervention, TAC/TAF, LAC, Family Support Worker, Careers, Parental, Subject Choices, etc.

Track and monitor attendance, late-coming, wider school participation and attainment and initiate and evaluate appropriate targeted support

Initiate and complete all referrals for and input at: IHG, IRG, GDR, Outreach support, Wellbeing 1:1 support, Opps for All, Senior Phase etc.

Develop, manage, implement and evaluate annual Improvement Plan for Pupil Support in collaboration with other PTPS and wider school colleagues within the context of the School Improvement Plan.

Oversee and manage the content of form classes within the designated house. Lead and disseminate relevant HWB/Pupil Support initiatives from Calendar of Events/assemblies/external speakers/pupil led initiatives/house events/ subject choices/mentor/targeted groups

Initiate and lead weekly/monthly meetings with House Registration Team to address needs of all pupils with use of HWB data/ t and m data

Provide advice and support to pupils on issues relating to their education and care within the designated house

Contribute to the development of school policy in relation to specified policy on remit

Promote and safeguard the health, safety and welfare of pupils

Manage and monitor the development and delivery of whole school Mental Health
